Future Success' Depends on Decisions Made NOW.

Soon, very soon, I'll be going to see my local ARMY Recruiter to sign my life away as a Ranger. I'm looking forward to this very much. To say this is the biggest decision in my life would be an understatement. To say it is the hardest decision I will ever make, well.... I don' t believe so. In fact, I think this will probably be the easiest decision I have ever made. I'm not joking in the slightest. I have always been fascinated with weapons and battlefields. To say I always had dreams about kicking ass and taking names in a SOCOM unit isn't very far from reality. As I'm typing this I look back over my life as a youngling and I do not see many accomplishments that others would see as great or amazing. I disagree of course, however I have no disillusions that victories and achievements in virtual reality are worth no more then the silicon they are running on. Perhaps I desire to become an elite soldier so badly because I need to prove something to myself. Prove, that I too, can do things that affect our world in some way that matters. I wish to save some lives, kill evil, and well... save some more lives and kill more evil. That may seem very blunt to anyone who reads this, but it is the ideal code which I want to live by: Save good; Destroy Evil. Essentially I want to be a modern Crusader, a Templar in ACU if you will. lol

Long time, No post eh?

Man, it's been a while since I posted. Just didn't have much to put down I guess. Well, now I have something on my mind. I wonder why I feel like I'm missing part of my psych or understanding might be a better term. As I look around at other young adults and

Fear and Perception

I just recently received my copy of Richard Matheson's 1954 classic, I am Legend (and other stories) which I ordered through Barnes & Noble's website (bn.com). I instantly started reading the book as soon as I got it and finished in a few hours. It kept me captivated the entire time. I enjoy a good horror novel. The ones that leave much to the imagination. (This book partially being of that nature) Reason being, is because

FOX News Poll: Most Say Founding Fathers Would Disapprove of Washington

*All following statistics/figures, unless otherwise noted, are from Fox News.

Apparently, an overwhelming majority of the American people who took part in this poll (why wasn't I notified?) agree that the Founding Fathers would be very UNHAPPY with the way things are running in D.C. now. Imagine that.

School Rumor Networks

I find it interesting how information spreads throughout a high-school. Particularly my high-school. Just today everyone is telling me we're having a terrible snow storm of 12"+ here Friday evening. Phbbtt. I wish. (We are actually supposed to get just more than 1/2 a foot.) This information is spread through of all things, oral communication and texting. Both of which we all know are as reliable as 3 wheeled cars. Guess my point is if you hear something in school, especially a large school, it's probably not true. Or at least it's a portion of the truth.
